Agile Asset Solutions was founded in 2019 as a consulting business focussing on the utilities and heavy industry businesses sectors. It was founded and continues to operate from Tasmania primarily in working in Tasmania.

Its founder David Shields has been working in the utilities sector for over 30 years in many roles within the Asset Management and Information Technology groups.

In 2022 Agile Asset Solutions merged with Ascension Consulting Pty Ltd a Tasmanian Utilities Management Consulting practice operated by Murray James for 28 years.

Murray has had a career spanning 48 years working across Water, Electricity and Gas companies internationally.

We are a small team of 4 professionals that have extensive backgrounds in all aspects of the utilities sector.

We are experienced at quickly understanding clients needs and delivering practical outcomes.
